Does RugReady create AI artwork?
No. RugReady turns an image you choose into a practical stencil. It does not generate or upload artwork.
Do my photos leave my iPhone?
No. Image processing and project storage happen on the device.
Can I trace without a projector?
Yes. Export a true-size tiled PDF with alignment marks and assemble the printed pages.
Why mirror a design?
Most tufting is done from the back of the cloth. Mirroring makes the finished front face the intended direction, which is essential for text.
What does Pro include?
Pro unlocks the complete Workshop, true-size projection, tiled PDF export, Tuft Mode, the yarn plan, the room preview, and reusable projects. Monthly and yearly options renew automatically unless cancelled.
How accurate is the yarn estimate?
It comes from how much of the rug each color covers, the finished size, and your pile height, plus a margin for waste. Treat it as a starting point: weigh your cones after the first rug and adjust My yarn usage to match your gun, yarn, and stitch density while keeping the actual pile height.
Does the room preview record anything?
No. It uses the rear camera to place the rug on your floor at true size and discards every frame as it draws. Nothing is photographed, saved, or uploaded, and the camera is never used anywhere else in the app.
